Sometimes people feel that Beet pulp is used as a "cheap filler" with “very little to no nutritional benefit”, however, this is not true!
In the past, some pet food companies have used high levels of sugar beet, and that has perhaps changed the perception of some, of the benefits this fantastic fibrous component offers! In Clydach diets, we generally use just 3-5% beet pulp inclusion in our diets!
We extract the fibrous component of the sugar beet, eliminating the sugar and harvesting the fibre. Fibre is beneficial to pets.

Beet pulp is a source of Soluble and Insoluble fibre. A balance of both soluble and insoluble fibre is essential for cats and dogs.
